Not with Chris Berman and Cris Carter on the team, no way. Carter may catch TD passes, but that’s all he does. He makes Shannon Sharpe look intelligent.

Collinsworth has experience. No knowledge though. He’s absolutely worthless. If I could him and Clark Kellog on a boat that would get lost at sea, I’d do it in a heartbeat. NFL Sunday Countdown is the tops. Period.

i figured since the World Wide Leader gets so much coverage, i didn’t have to mention them for the NFL Sunday Countdown. Also, i wouldn’t be able to write about ESPN’s coverage without cursing profusely. ABC’s Football Night in America is OK, but its a post-day games show. While i despise Peter King, i think Collinsworth is pretty knowledgeable and brings something to the table.

What about ESPN’s Sunday morning pre-game show? Chris Berhman, Coach Ditka, Keyshawn, Chris Carter and Tom Jackson, now that is a crew. They’re the best in my book. There’s also ABC’s Football Night in America, but between Dan Patrick, Keith Oberman, Bob Costas and Chris Collinsworth, I’m not sure who I want to punch first.
