Now that the Falcons have officially released Michael Vick, I guess nobody wanted to trade for his rights, the next question is where does he go from here. There are plenty of teams that could use his services and athleticism. Some may say they also need to be able to tolerate his indiscretions, but I believe his personal life is a far smaller risk than many would like to believe.
1. Cleveland Browns
We all know the Browns are rebuilding and have been for a while. Aside from Braylan Edwards and the annual bust that goes by the name of Kellen Winslow, the Browns have had nothing at receiver. The natural transition for Vick’s size, strength, quickness and hands would be to move to slot receiver. And who wouldn’t love to see Vick running in a long TD and jumping into the “Dog Pound”?
2. Miami Dolphins
The wildcat was undoubtably a hit last year. But now it’s time to take it to the next level. The draft selection of Pat White was a step in the right direction, but to quote Emeril, let’s “kick it up a notch!” Putting another running back that can throw in that backfield would certainly be too much for some opposing defenses to handle. Can you imagine Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams in the backfield, Pat White under center and Mike Vick lining up as a TE and going in motion? I foresee a rise in retiring defensive coordinators.

Vick will get his chance to play, but will it even be for an NFL team?
3. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincy is in a world of hurt. Even with some huge stars like Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, T. J. Houshmandzadeh, the Bungles have failed to put anything together. So they’re desperate. And they’re no stranger to taking in problems, so no one would be surprised to see them take a flier on a guy like Mike Vick.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Tank Johnson. Terrell Owens. Adam “Pacman” Jones. Following me? The Cowboys love taking the guys that everyone else is afraid of, throwing a bunch of money at them, attempting to keep them on lock-down, watching them flourish in their system, and then explode in their face. Why should they stop with the aforementioned gents. Give Mike Vick a chance.
5. New England Patriots
The Pats are like the NFL’s version of rehab. Somehow, whether it’s their system, their coaching staff, the cold weather, or the women that Tom Brady always hangs out with, New England seems to sooth the soul of the savage NFL beast. Like the Cowboys, they’re no stranger to taking in tarnished players, but they have more success. The most shining example of course is Randy Moss. And if last season is any indication, the Pats need as many players that can suit up at the running back position as possible.

I really want to see Vick in the Wildcat. I could see it working with White under center/Vick in motion or vice versa though. However, add too many people and eventually you don’t have people out there to block/catch. I think drafting White was the best 2nd round pick this year.

Check your tenses jackass.
@Ron
I think those four in the wildcat would be… wild. Keep five lineman and you’ve still got two wide-outs or TEs to block. But if defenses have a tough time deciding who to tackle when there’s 2-3 guys in the backfield, 4 will be ridiculous.

I added one word. At the very least, you’re still a jackass on the other.
