actually if you are suspended, you cannot be in the arena. That's what Dwight Howard said via Twitter.

I'm still not convinced that Kobe deserved to sit a game for that elbow, but considering that Rafer sat a game for his antics, maybe Kobe should've. Out of those infractions, I'd rank them (less worse to worst) Rondo, Rafer, Kobe, Dwight. So if you draw the line at Rafer, then yeah, Kobe should've probably sat out. And that goes right back to the inconsistency.

What's most interesting to me is that Ron Artest got ejected for the foul on Pau Gasol purely for his reputation as a loose cannon. But Kobe, who has a long history of violent elbows (just ask Mike Miller, Manu Ginobili and Marko Jaric's) apparently doesn't have that kind of reputation.

As much as I would hate to see Kobe Bean Bryant sitting out a game for the Lakers, I have to agree with you because the one thing I want more than a Kobe Bryant-filled SportsCenter highlight reel is playoff officiating consistency. Kobe, Dwight, Rondo and Rafer would each enjoy that 1 game skybox view of the playoffs. I'm just wondering who I have to elbow in the neck or slap in the face to get that view.
