Today is a big day in the life of Charles Barkley. Today Chuck turned 45 years old, the day after returning to TNT from his DUI-related hiatus.
We love you Chuck, we’re happy that you’re back, and we hope you never leave the NBA on TNT basketball crew again. C-Webb and The Glove were great NBA players, but they couldn’t come close to replacing you on-air.
The Krispy Kreme taste tests, the referee foot-race challenges, the shoe dodging, donkey kissing and everything else. We love it all. NBA basketball just isn’t the same. So we need you to be on your best behavior. Keep the gambling to a minimum (we know you’ll start up again soon enough), if you’re gonna drink, pay a driver (we know you’ve got the cash) and if you’re gonna rip on your family, take it easy on them. We need them to help keep you in line so you’ll stay on the air.
Have a happy birthday Chuck, and watch out for flying shoes.
