The Celtics keep sliding in the standings, and so do their players in the Basketball Jesus Rankings. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce have both dropped out of the rankings. But Dwyane Wade is holding on to a 62-point lead over LeBron James for the top spot.
Chris Bosh (3), Kobe (4) and Dirk (5) haven’t moved a lick and are sitting in the same spots they were last week, but none of them are really threatening to take over either spot. Kevin Durant is the big mover this week and has jumped up to the number eight spot from eleven last week.
Joe Johnson (13) is eeking his way down to the bottom of the Rankings, will his tenure on the list come to a close soon? Chris Paul (7) seems to have ascended up the list at the expense of Al Jefferson (10) and Vince Carter (12). And Kevin Durant is holdong strong at the number eight spot. If only that could translate into wins for the Thunder.
And yet again, Antawn Jamison (15) and Yao Ming (14) fail to drop off the list, and also fail to move up. If I had to pick the player most likely to drop off the list in week 13 though, it’d be Vinsanity, Vince Carter. Good luck Vince!
